Catharsis
Bring on the pain
for I have seen my ruin misspent ways.
Bring on the rain
so it can wash me away...
Bring on the insane
so I can sit commune
feeling righteous
and holy in the last days!
Bring on the night
I can’t hide if there is no shame
in counting my souls' scars!
Watch me fight for the inalienable right,
I conspire with the fire; the laws of man!
To die on the immaculate White Sands...
Of heavens shores, I want to play
For something to take the pain away.
Fill me with the righteous rain
Scattered we are insane
Burn a fire so bright that the night will seem like day!
I sit here in this agony
I sit here with all these wires
There is a fire in my veins!
I see the perpetual spires
At the zenith, Valhallas cloudy mount
I want to go there some sunny day
But someone always calls me back.
Time and time again
Once filled by the sea that kills
All
In
Darkness
Sinks my mortal silence
Along this, the intrepid coil of reality...
So bring on the rain!
so I can let it wash away with all pains
so I feel it covers this scarred, tired brow!
So bring on the pain!
So I can laugh at the insane
Bring on the night
So I can watch HIS raven wings take flight and
Feel it grace my soul in its silken touch!
Evermore...
Leave me in its gentle arms
Let me rest in the shade of that old oak tree
Hard tis the wing, gently rushing over me!
Let me swim in the tranquil seas of infinity...
Bring on the fight
I will fight the good fight!
Bring on the light
I won’t see where these travels take me...
To my father's home...
I see the coming door!
Let me ride the wheel
of oblivion forevermore!
