The catch of the day was a shark I'm surprised they fished off that ark The fishes on the boat, Could hardly stay afloat God allowed sharks to disembark.

Nice one Milton, made me chuckle. Just imagine if there were 2 of a kind, I wonder how many behaved on the Ark, mmm :) I've written a few Limericks myself, it's good fun :)

I enjoy them, but I have a heck of a time getting the rhythm right. Even when I have the required number of syllables in the appropriate lines, they just don't seem to read right. I love them, but I spend more time trying to get a limerick to work that any other format.

Oh, I detest sharks! I grew up on the Pacific, and that line from Jaws regarding "they stare at you with those lifeless doll eyes" - yikes. Seen way too many up close. Good one, Milt!
