Catch a Falling Star
Shirley Sue was wearing the biggest grin.
She kept her secret, and her hand on her pocket.
We had no idea until years later that she had caught one.
We had all heard of the possibility of it, of course.
The ones who did not believe, did not have a chance.
I did believe, so could have caught a star myself.
If I had believed as hard as she did.
