Cat Has a Glow of An Angel Today
Cat has a glow of an angel today
I jumped a foot from a porch away
Had unique look of the fairy fey
Tan halo around his fur gray
Gave a closer look without delay
Appeared ethereal in this month of May,
A magnificent look for this simple stray.
Zooming in now is a fat frisky blue jay.
With a hidey-ho and a hey, hey, hey,
Cat gives the bird a silent okay.
I am relieved as there is no fray.
Angels at work on this porch by the bay.
