Cat Food

"Cat Food" It was five in the morning, My cat was crying for food. Put on my new slippers. Headed for my kitchen. Her greenish eyes flashing. Tail, thumping with joy. Cut my hand when opening a can. She didn't care at all! I gave her food in her leopard bowl, Ravenous she, bloody me! June 28, 2020 6am PST

What a cute poem this is Panagiota! All was fine till that can zipped your hand...still you didn't panic, as many others probably would have done! Like you I do have to get up to see to Smokey (our family cat), but never as early as that :) ~ Regards // paul

Pat your Smokey for me! Glad you liked it, Paul. I have very weird hours, besides having a weird mind. Irene was so unfriendly when we got her a few years ago.has really grown to be a snuggle bug, Pangie x

Great last line! … Hope the cat's healed... Too bad she can't take care of your basic needs the way you take care of hers. Oh, well... Cute poem, Panagiota! :) Gershon

Hello Gershon, cat is fine, ..it's me with the cut. Nothing dreadful! She does provide a quite tenderness and serenity. Too bad she can't cook for me or clean house.)))))) Have a terrific week ahead. Shalom, Panagiota xx

I love cats and cat poems! I've also been dinged a few times opening cans for my dear old cat Jeff and many others we've had over the years but when all is said and done there is none of God's creatures more magestic than a cat! I like their independent and snobbish stance. Great write, Panagiota.

A fabulous Cooment by a great Poet..I love their air of regality. When they snuggle, I am in heaven. Cut fingers? Not..I am an addict to calicos and dark torties...cats eyes.mmmm..Mystical moonbeams ))
