Cat Foot Complaint
CAT FOOT COMPLAINT
I have received a complaint from
My cat’s back foot, starboard side.
Why is it always me for the old chin-kick scratch?
Or for poking fleas from his ears?
Always me when he wants to jump the eight-foot wall in a hurry?
And what about burying the once-a-day-material ! !
Who has to fill-and-cover?
It’s always me the kids pull as I try to escape
From being dressed as a baby doll
On a hot summer’s day.
And when I walk down the piano scale
Why is it always me who has to play the black notes?
All the other guys are on white.
And , you know, on the window sill I never get to see the view:
That massive tail is always curled up and over me.
