Carpe Diem

A brilliant sun says carpe diem The northerly breeze roars A veranda's open arms invite But warmth inside implores Ambiguous turmoil lingers Blue cloudless sky welcomes Just a little treck on the porch One minute there beckons Not a crow caws out his warning The crisp air has them bound Locked inside their nesting spot Too cold to stir around Seize the day despite the change Reach deep within requiem There's got to be something magical So just carpe diem Inspired by: Regina Riddle's Seize The Day (Carpe Diem) Written: Sunday November 2, 2014
