Cardinal Is Ready To Listen
Cardinal has her ear
Ready to listen
Little girl does not trust many
Some have shared her secrets
She is not comfortable enough to share yet
But she appreciates the cardinal’s willingness to listen
Who would he tell? Her heart asks, wanting to trust.
She does not know, but she cannot help her feelings.
She is not ready to trust anyone yet
Friend, family member or bird.
