Captured By a Mind Unhinged
Surrounded by the chaos of a mind unhinged,
She sought out a kind of refuge in
A corner of the gray concrete she found herself
Surrounded by.
The coldness of the bricks startled her
At first, but she
Realized he meant to keep her there
Until his thoughts went a new direction
She sat down and began to wait,
Visualizing her nice warm and toasty bed
With its fluffy comforter, and her lively room.
The hair on her arms began to rise,
As she carefully began to plan another escape.
It was turning cold out now, and this room was not heated.
She would not last long
If she did not get away on her next
Escape attempt.
The moveable brick made a horrible scraping
Sound as he peered inside.
Loud laughter came out of his stomach soul.
Are you okay? He asked.
Cold and hungry she thought.
Miraculously, a dirty brown towel was thrust into the space and a half eaten sandwich.
Grateful, she began to eat.
