Captive

Soft pillowed mouth invites a fall below hazel brown eyes that seduce virgin dawn to a zenith crescendo and the release of primordial seeds. Sultry afternoons' oppressive heat moves to a twilight mauve with disquieting regularity. Too soon, as the canopy of blackness enfolds an amorphous tomorrow under this celestial vault, an anguished groan erupts from the soft pillowed mouth.

Wow this is very imaginative. I've never heard such a vague but somehow familiar description of...well...I guess I'll call it the O word. The description seems so calm, so unassuming. Very nice. -Yoni

Who does the "soft pillowed mouth" belong to? Nice personification in this poem! Yours Matthew Anish

Gosh, I am having an awful day, and already made one mistake in interpreting a poem. I get the amazing, and I mean exquisite imagery here, but the soft pillowed mouth - I don't get it. The only thing that doesn't seem to go with the rest of your poem that I come up with is snoring! Please, please forgive me! :( Love, Shar
