Can't Sleep

Listen to poem:
I should want to sleep But I don’t I can’t I’m wired I can barely close my eyes I lay awake Thoughts circling Bobbing bubbling Rolling around in my head I worry and think of things All jumbled Scenarios Possibilities What ifs Cloud my brain Can’t seem to find The off switch AP: 2nd place 2022 Posted on January 19, 2020

We all have those nights. When it happens to me I remember the creator has worked out all the scenarios that got me top when I am today. And I figure this too will pass, Ill leave it up to him and react according when I wake in the morning.
