Candy-Coated Sediment
I thought I was complex...
Multifaceted, divinely complicated
But I was very, very mistaken
You read me like I was playing cards with my hand tattooed on my cheeks
I fell for your charm, your depth...
your candy-coated sediment
Fortunately you fell a bit short of your goal of destroying me
Luckily you hated yourself more than you hated me
I drove by your place today
Definitely tempted to kick that polished new headstone...
However I have on a great new pair of shoes and refuse to get them soiled by your candy-coated sediment
