Candlelight Beauty

~A flickering candle beside the flower vase trying to dispel darkness's last trace, the candle light reflected by your necklace touched your chin and increased the grace, it seemed never did I see such a beautiful face your eyes were love's nesting place next moment as we were in warm embrace the candle light faded and darkness engulfed the place.~ ===============000============== By:kash poet Contest:By Candlelight Sponsor:Russell Sivey

There is so much heat in the room,...who needed a candle anyways?... Such a warm personal encounter, Kash. Adding the necklace in the poem had a dazzling effect! ....I am writing a political poem today and dedicating it to you since you love my political poetry soooooo much. It is a big political day today in my home state. We are voting on Obama's rival for the November election. (lol...I knew you would be tickled to learn of this news as you follow our politics so carefully thru my poems.) :) Gwendolen

ok, now I am seeing the poem you asked me about. It's very nice, Kashinath, but yes. The first two words are not the same rhyme. Actually necklace is pronounced like those two words, but the other "ace" words sound different. Hope that helps. I am sure you can adjust this poem to include only the rhyming words. I think using lines 3 to 8 is enough (maybe adding in a few other lines ending with -ace rhymes!) Good luck! Luv, Andrea
