Can You See Me

I am just a tiny pebble in this vast ocean. Can you see me? I am so small. I am insignificant, I am worthless? A huge wave was passing by and said ” ride me and make a splash” The little pebble jumped on the wave and made a big splash. The pebble got confidence on that day. She doesn't view herself as just a pebble. She sees herself with new lenses, and has been making splashes ever sense. Alexis Y. 11/23/2020

How cute and well written dear Alexis - I love the pebble and the wave and the interconnection and communication between them. This is certainly a fave for me. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

you certainly make a splash with your poems Alexis, its amazing to see some poems getting over 100 'reads' the minute they are posted with no comments, other have far fewer 'reads' but lots of comments I know which poet i would rather be, slow and steady wins the race:-) hugs jan xx

WoW! Jan, I am touched by your comment. I understand how a poem is read that many times and don’t get a single comment. I agree, slow and steady does win the race. I appreciate your continued support. Have a wonderful my friend:-) Alexis
