Calling the Calamity
Unique blue planet billions of years old,
a marvel of cosmic contribution,
survived tectonic turmoil brunt untold.
Life forms thrived in tree of evolution,
nurtured pristine splendor like a mother
amidst the noxious haze of pollution.
Nations script stark grim story another,
key balance tripped stripping green canopy,
for progress ecosystems we smother.
Rampant growth breaks sustained bounds rapidly,
to face bleak future of doom’s day we wait,
as razed woods call climate calamity.
It’s time nature’s frail poise we don’t berate,
pass the land to our children in pure state.
