Speak softly to my heart, Oh Lord,
And calm my troubled spirit.
Your voice a soothing melody,
Oh I long to hear it.
Call me to Your side, Oh Lord,
And keep me safely there,
That I may close by you abide,
And never have to fear.
Your presence close around me,
A comfort to my soul,
Your peace at once surrounds me,
And draws me to the fold.
Away from You is turmoil,
But where You are is home,
As long as I will seek You,
I'll never be alone.
