Butterfly of Beauty
Our hearts flutter by
with the butterfly,
Beauty captured in fragility,
flight in raptures of agility;
Life's just short,
Its best part
spent creeping,
then sleeping
in silk cocoons,
while our ilk croons -
See the charming energy,
feel the warming synergy
of this tiny creature,
'tis queenie of Nature,
Such dyed chromatic beauty
calls for automatic saluting -
God's artistic design,
so prolific and Divine,
He lives in His majesty
and gives us His amnesty,
adding colour to life,
amidst all war and strife,
it's bliss to watch today
this multi hued sway
of the pretty butterfly,
as our hearts flutter by.
