Butterflies of Beauty
Butterflies of Beauty
Cold incubation holds
these butterflies of beauty
locked within cocoon’s
mock death
awaiting
soft fairy kiss
spring quickening
muted hearts
transforming
quiescent chrysalis
calling to the wings
unfold
fan the wisps
of rainbow sun
become the beauty
that is you.
