But One Flower
There is but one flower which remains
of gardens that are lost
One lonely flower standing tall in the sun
I cherish every petal, every golden
blade of life
Respect determination and
the struggle to survive
There is but one flower here and now
to grace my field of dreams
But one is all I need to see the
world in lavish bloom
To forecast every color, every shade of
pink and green
Fragrant with desire to know joy
once again
