But Nobody Notices
She had never dealt with anything more difficult,
Then her own mind and soul.
People don’t understand,
How difficult and stressful it is,
To explain what is going on in your head,
When you don’t even know it yourself.
She tries.
She tries to be okay.
She tries to make everyone proud,
To get good grades,
To look nice,
to act happy.
She could swear she is tying,
Even though she is failing it at the same time.
Behind her smile is a hurting heart.
And behind her laugh
She is falling apart.
Nobody notices how hard she tries,
To hold back her tears.
