Bus 268

It took so long to adjust to life without her Her presence in their home Loved each other a lifetime Now apart and alone Everyday for the last four years His dedicated routine was the same Catching Bus 268 at 9.30am At 5pm returning home again Tuesday was like any other Though the bus trip home was not the same Staring blankly out the window as tears fell He would never be catching Bus 268 again She was gone ……

Such a tremendously sad situation, enacted the world over… daily. I think women handle such loss better than men do, but I’m not sure why… maybe it’s because us men are such a pain in the ass. Nice one, Deb.
