Burn's End

The unconscious glitter in branches draws out The partial moon after dark; She comes to grips on its side— Her other night, inspired. The partial moon after dark— Staring at the water moor, Her other night, inspired— As a feather lights a match to flames. Staring at the water moor, She comes to grips on its side; As a feather lights a match to flames The unconscious glitter in branches draws out.

Paige, I nearly beheld the radiant moon, casting its ethereal reflection upon the serene expanse of a lake, akin to shimmering fragments of poetry, evoking a profound sense of awe.

Paige, this is so filled with emotion riding on the metaphors of glitter in branches in the "partial moon!" Pantoums are a challenge to write but you pulled this one together with delicate finesse! Nicely done! Blessings!

I've not ever tried this form, but you wrote one that appears to flow so well. I love this line: 'as a feather lights a match to flames' WOW...powerful image and message of someone coming to grips on the inside. Well done, Paige. hugs, Sara

Such an interesting title and lines in this difficult form. I find pantoums to be rather hard to do! Great job.

You make pantoum even seem so easy to do. And your lines flow so beautifully. Absolutely love this. Especially the moon and imagery and depth of your descriptive lines truly is stunning. “ As a feather lights a match to flames” how deep is this line! Im in awe really. Fave for me
