Burning Summer
BURNING SUMMER
Summer severe, whirling wind dry, weary birds to cry.
Grammar of blistering Sun, scorching heat to be caught.
Hammer of burning sunrays to hit: Forest fire bursts.
Farmer worried in torrid Sun, arid fields in draught.
Garden adjacent flooded with fragrance of Jasmine.
Burden of humidity evaporates at best.
Hardened soil hankering for rain showers to get wet.
Sudden gust driving dust inviting robust tempest.
