Burning Embers
Burning embers, a flame that never left
A spirit still living in need of a breath
Just a word or a look could revive
Dangerous feeling, fantasies kept alive
The ghost of the undead only slept
Holding the feelings for which it wept
For precious memories they could not forget
Burning embers not dead yet
But silence is a shroud for secrets kept
Are feelings allowed to collect a debt
Please consider don't leave abused
I'm willing, if you make the first move
