Buoyancy of Shadows

this sensation of footsteps falling hollow like shadows buoyant on air wingless that i am can't ground this perception of flight tired of this weight stacked against me and struggled little breaths of life sometimes i wish to close my eyes and drift endlessly away

I can feel the weight of this amazing poem my sweet friend. Sometimes the world gets a bit heavy, lifting seems fruitless when lifting alone. There is a sadness I feel not so much from the poem but what has inspired it. I am here to help with the heavy lifting. Wonderfully written Sandy.

Here's to some oomph in those wings, although perception truly starts (and ends) n the mind, of course… Nicely penned, my friend. ~ Gershon

i need all the oomph i can get right now...i feel weak, maybe too much on my plate, spreading my energy to others instead of healing myself, i feel very off the past few days! hugs

Hi Sandra. Aah many times I have felt like this, then I hold my wife and all things seem to fall into place. Thanks for sharing this. Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving....i don't like the feeling of walking on air... feeling like you are almost floating... kind of scary!
