Buddys Wolf Look
Buddy gives me his wolf look.
The one he gave me the day I found him
Sleeping on our porch on the couch
The day he jumped up and I screamed.
Which I rarely do.
He has been living with us for nine months.
He is our baby.
His wolf look now makes me feel protective.
Inside this look I see vulnerability and pain.
A little boy who was dumped by another family.
He is my baby
I am his mama
I will protect him with my life.
God help those other people
if I ever find them.
