Broken Things Can Be Fixed

A crown on the ground Broken but not shattered Parts and pieces all around You say “It doesn’t matter” What’s broken is broken It’s well beyond repair While perfect stays prefect But you’re not aware Someone walks over And picks up the pieces Takes it back, without looking at you You still remain speechless They take some glue And puts it back together again They waited awhile Before taking it in their hands They walk to you And place it on your head “Broken things can still be fixed” “But what if it falls apart again?” They smile at you And pat your head “I’m sure you’ll know What to do”
