Broken Themes

Golden meadows rising with the morning sun Jogging with me, recalling broken themes Writing, scratching, re-writing on the run Thumping heart cheering swinging hands to dream Like trying to draw water from a water-less stream. August 6, 2017

haha, I am going all over the place trying to find an oldie and I fell on this one where I said back in 2018, "finally I found an oldie I had not read of yours" (I have found it again but this tiime it's been read!!)

Finally, I found an oldie I had not read of yours!! I love how you made the metaphor to writing with the waterless stream. So cool!! Also I love this poetry form you used.

I've been trying to convey the "writing, scratching, re-writing" process to my granddaughter. She wants it to be perfect when it leaves her pen.
