Broken Hope
She stabs my tender heart
With a staff of anger
Spinning me into a whirl
Hurling me beyond
A terror unspeakable
She tears my very soul
And dampens my eyes
By being as harsh
As she can be
I harbor slim hope
Will she come back
Can I receive love again
Like we once were
But the pain exists still
From her horrid being
Breaking my spirit in two
Now I wander around
The dark-lit sky
Simmers a forlorn glance
Nothing is really left
That resembles our love
What once was
Never to be again
She crushed that dream
A long time ago
Destroying and annihilating
Bruising my heart
Again and again
She carries on
I will never hold her again
She has thrown me
For the last time
I will now leave her
In her own fierceness
Of an ex girlfriend a long time ago
