Broken Hearted - Jtap

Our friendship here had only just started then you left me alone, broken hearted you're gone but not forgotten now life it seems so rotten ever since the sad day you departed. We miss you, Chan :) This was my sadder take on the "poet who broke my heart" contest theme.

Chan became like a brother to me in the short time that I knew him. It was so sad to hear of his death, but I know Chan's presence will always be with me.

It was very sad when Chan (Just That Archaic Poet) passed away in October. It is still so hard to believe it's true. He was like my big brother here on The Soup and his presence has been missed... Thank you for your kind words here, SKAT :)

You chose probably the best possible topic to write on, the passing of Chan. You and he were so close, I can imagine. It's hard to believe he died and sad beyond words. Loved your poem, Kelly.

It is still hard for me to believe that Chan passed away, because he had such a lively personality. He became my big brother on Poetry Soup, and his heart and soul can never die... Thank you so much for your kind words here. I'm so glad you liked my poem :)
