Brightness

The sun rises, shines across the snow Reflecting brightness, everywhere Highlighting and lifting this prayer Clear blue skies are welcome to show Even the shadows are pretty pictures Some are still, some waving around Winter creates a soothing sound Bringing comfort, as do some scriptures Icicles glisten, so bright to the eye Winter brings us so much light In special ways with every sight It enlightens me, lifts me to the sky I wish upon others to take a sweet moment Even cold air is so fresh to breathe In a minute, it can help relieve Those murky thoughts, not worth to be spent Heidi Sands 1/8/21
