Bright Flecks of Light (Shakespearean Sonnet)

White flecks of bright reflect within your eyes The blue star burn of cosmic beauty's light. A shroud poured down from high in midnight skies Enwraps your face with love's caress tonight. This sight conceived inspires a poet's heart To kiss the bliss of every word in verse; Transcendent voices echo pure each part Of love evolved throughout this universe. I gaze amazed at all we have expressed As nerves still serve yet quiver with delight. Our comfort comes because of love confessed We pray our days of joy will not take flight. These words that do awake within my soul Will weave the way to heal this broken whole.
