The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Breaks Its Burn

The pages turn as the story’s told
The bright light breaks its burn as we act so bold.

Though the winter winds howl and roar at our doors. They will be released by spring and we’ll feel free once more.

But the circled history that the tree can tell
We record our lives not nearly so well

And our minds will change and our hearts will break
So do we call it choice or do we call it fate

But our history belongs to only you and me
The memories of our life together no one else can see

If the choice of life is to love someone like you then the choice I made will see my lifetime through.
