I had a fridge freezer that lived for twenty years, I put one new thermostat in it and it ran perfectly. Ultimately let it go because it was losing the fight against rust. But still it worked. Next fridge freezer sounded like someone with a road drill after just one year. Loved your witty but ‘so true’ observation. Terry

You have skillfully crafted a truly distinctive and exquisitely composed poem that possesses considerable depth. The newer works lack the longevity and enduring qualities exhibited by the older ones. Your artistic expression is great, Sara.

thanks, Sotto, for your kind comments about my poem, one I threw together at the last minute when I wasn't feeling up to snuff so to speak. Hope you're doing better these days. Have a splendid evening, your poetess friend in Texas, Sara

Old appliances last for ever. I have a cloth dryer which runs nicely from early 70s.

Great one, Sara, I've had a few breaks down almost the same amount after buying them. They don't make them like they used to.Many blessings my friend to you and yours.
