Break the Mirror
Break The Mirror
Beyond this life we know so well,
Lies a mystery we cannot quell,
Near-death and hypnosis reveal,
A continuity beyond our mortal veil.
But who are we, beyond this flesh,
What lies beyond our final breath,
Our true essence, elusive and grand,
Beyond the grasp of mortal hand.
Why is the underlying truth concealed
In our earthly life, so often surreal,
Limited by our senses, our mind's frame,
A veil on reality, not quite the same.
To know the truth in definitiveness,
We must transcend our social conditioning's grip,
Religious and scriptural beliefs may bind,
But true understanding lies beyond the confined.
So let us seek with open heart and mind,
Beyond what we think we know to find,
The mysteries that lie beyond this sight,
And uncover the truth in all its light
