Brave-Hearts of Battles-Ii
Shoulder to shoulder he'd walked with soldiers,
Marching on to fight in a forward gear,
Together to fight with fellow brothers,
With courage he'd muted his morbid fear,
Chill of death touching his innermost bone,
His throbbing heart feeling the sounds of gun,
Amidst grave battles still care next to none,
Fear no more fraught once within a kill zone.
On battleground no job was astute more,
And no joy sacred more, any more rife
Than saving a life-- be it with a knife,
His heart stone-like with all the blood begone.
A sole wish survived-- never to get caught,
But just fight well, let in death dwell one's lot.
