Long lost affair
Torrid and rare
With its exotic flair
True love we did declare
To each other we did swear
How could we be aware
We didn’t have a prayer
Youth was all we’d share
The breeze in our hair
Passion filled the air
Loving we would dare
Too carefree to heed beware
I’d have followed you anywhere
Nothing would ever compare
Your shadow haunts me here and there
My heart now branded with despair
