Bought Just Yesterday
Bought me a computer yesterday,
and it worked just fine I must say
It worked just fine ... fine and dandy
The warranty was cut fresh,
top of the line insurance, nothing but the best
I have no worries ... no worries yet
Powered it up on the third day,
started Hawaiian surfing the web
Ordered a couple of tropical shirts;
they looked pretty sweet,
and the price you couldn't beat
Then I went cyber cruising somewhere else,
bought a boat ticket to Brazil
Cross this one off my chill pill ... looks like I will
Bucket list getting shorter ... looking better I feel
This computer is starting to look like a good deal
A good deal ... maybe even a steal
Them shirts are gonna look so good on me out there in Brazil
Next, I had my fingers walk me over to a Big Box store,
looking for some new shoes to wear
Found some nice ones too
So I'm waiting in the cyber checkout line,
pushing my electronic shopping cart
with credit card in hand
The credit card in hand is my plastic money rubberband
Then a red flag comes up, stopping the sale
I said, looka here ... oh, well
Wondering what this was all about,
I proceeded to investigate ... see why the big wait
The big wait is what I really hate
Web administrators were blocking the sale,
they said my new drivers were out-of-date
It was just the third day,
and my computer had become obsolete
You gotta be kidding me ... obsolete, really
Bought me a computer just the other day,
but it got old really quick
Got old real quick in a hurry
The funeral arrangements have been made,
and I'm digging a debt pit
It's obsolete already, and I still owe for it
Digging a deep debt pit ... 'cause I still owe for it
Man, I hate when they sell you technology
in pieces and bits
