Borderlands I

On the way back to the border You had your morning coffee, I had my cup of reality… The land passes from sight. you were making conversation as much as I was lost, of which I was wandering.. the halls of afterthought the dominions of solitude. you stand there wondering in my vacant stare wondering where are you going what has begun It IS crazy that you were heading back to the border of reality and nowhere to a place in between and unseen. You were not even there behind those eyes, the lights were on, the soul the not at home. I ought to be the one who had set afoot in a land of deviations and ramifications! The blind! If I could have been your fool I might have gotten caught You didn't spy the sunset I watched the moonrise I didn't know what I was looking at Just the dead with dead eyes. What you were running from? Something unseen in between the eternal seams? Lost in the Halls of shadows and lights! You were shaking', what could you have done, what did you see in the faraway world, what horrors one mind could not hold, looking in the regions of night where shadows roam! Man, these are the worst of times, as your sight fades in the burning light…
