Bonds of Tears

There is a bond which we keep in our tears, a grand communion between heart and eye. Mingles truth with sorrow and love with fears and bathe our souls to rinse anguish aside. So let it not be our pain which we hide. From tears of joy as our first child is born, or when comes time for our mothers we mourn. O! Keep us this bond of tears and sorrow and keep us alone with our wetted cheeks. We cry today may we smile tomorrow. Let teardrops be verse as our souls may speak let aching of heart or grief we not keep. Damp is our spirit, each drop which we cry washes our torment while rinsing our eye.
