Body In Winter
Her final gasp escapes her frozen form
with eyes staring listlessly
up at the heavens--
And diamond-like crystals
lap at her skin
My heart trembles ; my face grating
as sobs rack my shoulders
with convulsive despair
It rains -- flakes glitter
And my tears fall
upon dear sister's winter body.
