Sometimes the best love affairs are the ones that only happen in your mind.
The sun is gone behind the clouds,
Soft shades of misty blue.
Gentle waves lap at the shore,
And through the mist I see you.
You're pullin' in your net again.
You set your sail against the haze.
You disappear behind the mist,
Hidden from my quiet gaze.
Blue-gray clouds engulf the shore.
You never saw my silent wave.
You never knew that I was there.
Your eyes beheld but blue-gray waves.
