Blowing In the Wind
I sit on this hill that is colored green
Not many people have even seen
Thoughts are blowing in the wind here
Swirling in the currents, dropping a tear
Shifting from memories that are old and new
Years blowing by, with all I went through
I see faces as if they were frozen by a minute
I can see all this from this place where I sit
My heart falls in a dip, then wind lifts it high
To keep on beating, as I breathe and I sigh
Wind touches my face and blows my hair
Refreshes me, as I hold on with sweet care
Ride with the wind gusts, to lift me on my flight
Through all that I face each day and each night
Without the wind, I may not even see or know
How to sort the thoughts in view, some to let go
