The sun will shine brighter tomorrow when . . . I let go, let go, let go- I have come to your grave my true love; with a blood red rose in my hands and wet with my tears, and I weep, oh how I weep this love that has been taken. My love, I have been on a journey- a labyrinth tangled, I have found in myself courage and strength I did not know I had; be proud of me because I have arrived at a place of utter peace, but, I say farewell love- for I must now leave this grief behind . . . ______________________________ June 18, 2018 Poetry/Verse/Blood Rose Copyright Protected, ID 18-1031-943-01 All Rights Reserved. Congratulations on your win. A different take on the theme, as always so creative. Heartbreakingly sad, but also strong.

Constance, I share every word of this with you because of the unexpected loss of my wife of 20 years. But I am learning that, even through loss, life continues. So, I say to you, may the peace and love that you had and that I had will remain with us and the sun will shine brighter because of it.
