bliss after-burn lingers
humming in the background,
undying like our breath,
moment by moment thus,
being love’s healing meth.
bliss after-burn lingers
magnetising our form,
fixating attention
on love’s magical play,
as our meditation.
bliss after-burn lingers,
teasing and caressing,
it oft heightens rapture,
sending us in deep spasms,
raising our soul’s stature.
bliss after-burn lingers
as joy in permanence
and as we are consumed
from inside out by fire,
erst dark fears are exhumed.
