Blest Beginning
Oh, God, You are the fire of divine glow
Kindle in my soul blest beginning flame
Radiate to me love amidst peace-flow
While assured victory* I do now claim.
Lord, lead me by Your wondrous guiding light
While to You I cling, and steadfastly cleave
Seeking mercy's grace of kindness-delight
To share with joy ... hope I always receive.
I thank You, my dear Saviour, for reaching-out
Here’s my heart for fellowship's prayer cheer
Praises be all Yours for smiting my doubt
While to Your presence I indeed draw near.
With You I triumph in fulfilling roles
In building lives, achieving sublime goals.
