Blessed Is the Man - James 1: 12-15
God is the one who gives out blessings
real blessing with the divine touch
why then does mankind reject this?
ignorant of blessing is so much
Many trials come upon mankind
but God has promised a real-life crown
for those who are in love with God
standing the test refusing to stand down
The tempter seeks us all to fall
for God can't be tempted to sin
the Lord Jesus never tempts anyone
rather He spurs us on being our king
Beware of sinful desires within
that tempts you away being lured
so enticed by one's own desire
learning all things to be endured
these sinful desires birth ones' sins
which when grown fully will bring death
but God provides your spiritual antidote
granting life eternal, Jesus saith
(Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.)
