Blessed Cornucopia
Persuaded that God is eternal blessings’* Source
I feast in His cornucopia-granting force…
Such offers grace for savouring delight
while empowering heart to share with loving might.
Midst pandemic-caused crisis along community lockdown
my faith sees the Creator’s supply pouring down…
Such is functional cornucopia exemplified at its best
conquering dearth to provide for all and the rest.
Abundant provisions geared toward sharing gladness
indeed can smite selfishness and greediness…
Such heightens genuine cornucopia’s essence
as it subdues apathetic self-sufficiency’s prevalence.
*Genesis 49:25 Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb.
