Blank Paper and Mind

How a poem should one find,
And so I started…
Waited till was frustrated,
Perhaps the paper was lined.

Poet’s note: Sometimes it seems better to approach a poem with a blank mind, free from the floss of loosely woven preconceived notions. This Tanka might sound too far-fetched; but the truth is: before a vessel can be filled, it must be emptied.
