Blank Paper and Mind

Blank paper, blank mind, How a poem should one find, And so I started… Waited till was frustrated, Perhaps the paper was lined. ______________________________ Tanka |03.04.2022| Tongue-in-cheek Poet’s note: Sometimes it seems better to approach a poem with a blank mind, free from the floss of loosely woven preconceived notions. This Tanka might sound too far-fetched; but the truth is: before a vessel can be filled, it must be emptied.
