Black Hole Eyes


You are my joy and my pleasure-filled pain
Sunshine mixed with a little hurricane
You are my lovely loss and grievous gain
Freedom mixed with a liberating chain

You kill me with your cruel tenderness
Gentle torment tells of love measureless
I experience such bittersweet bliss
You poison me with your passionate kiss

Grounded in flight, you make me touch the skies
I descend floating in your black hole eyes
You kindle me warm with your frozen fire
I taste sweet agony in your desire

You are my anchor in still-waking sleep
In visible darkness, my heart you sweep
I'd loudly whisper my promises true
It's an open secret that I love you.
